Within the past week, we've discovered that holes have been dug within the Scheduled Monument area of Caerphilly Castle.  This kind of damage harms the historic grounds of one of Wales's most treasured landmarks.

We would like to remind everyone that damaging a Scheduled Monument is an offence under the Historic Environment (Wales) Act 2023.

Caerphilly Castle is an important part of our shared heritage, and we're asking the public to help us protect it.  If you notice anything unusual or have any information that could help, please let us know so we can continue to safeguard our rich Welsh history together.
